Midwest Precision Grinding utilizes cylindrical grinding to manufacture precision metal rods and shafts. A cylindrical grinder may have multiple grinding wheels. The workpiece is rotated and fed past the wheels to form a cylinder and is used to make precision rods. We are able to supply ground bars and shafts fabricated to any length for your close tolerance machining applications. With a wide variety of material available for your custom needs we welcome blanket orders for shipment to your specifications.
